Jowissa Watches Are Affordable Luxury

One of the most important accessories a guy should own is a watch. This practical piece of jewelry not only helps guys keep track of the time, but it completes the look of any outfit. 

Some may think that wearing a watch is useless when you already carry a smartphone everywhere you go; however, there are some disadvantages to using only your smartphone to keep time.

• Your smartphone has a battery that is good for maybe a day or so before it needs to be recharged.  Your watch battery is good for a year or two and maybe longer!

• It more polite to glance at your wrist than pulling out your phone during a conversation.

Watches are available for just about every type of environment.  If you’re a first responder you might find it best to go with a rugged watch that can withstand high temperatures and take a serious beating. 

You might also need one that can light up in low-light situations.  However, this isn’t the best watch to put on for a date night and you certainly don’t want to wear this with a formal uniform or suit.

If you’re into the latest tech, then the ever-popular Apple Watch is the way to go.

In addition to telling time, it can do pretty much everything aside from making a cup of coffee (although if you have a smart coffee pot, you can probably do that too), however, smartwatches need to be charged daily and if it isn’t charged you’re likely not going to put it on.

Style and Class

Having a watch is practical and there are practical applications for it depending on your needs.  But this is the one piece of jewelry that can exude style and class for men. 

Having an everyday watch that goes with any outfit is a must-have.

There are a lot of watch manufacturers and a lot of different styles. 

Choosing a watch that fits your style is completely up to you.  My go-to watch for years was a Burberry watch that was given to me by my mom for my college graduation.  This is a beautiful silver watch with a silver face that went with pretty much every outfit I had, including the suits that I wore daily.

If you have a cool $5,000 to $40,000 to drop on a watch, then maybe Rolex is your style?  I was fortunate enough to pick one up at a great price, but I don’t wear it as often as I thought I would. 

It’s a beautiful, but very heavy watch, and honestly, I’m a little concerned that something might happen to it if I wear it every day.  So the thing just sits in a box in my safe.

My Jowissa

Recently I picked up a Jowissa watch.  Although the name might not sound familiar, this Swiss watch brand has actually been around for 70 years.  

If you’re looking for an everyday watch that will go with pretty much any outfit, then this is the brand for you.

Jowissa watches embody craftsmanship and are truly a work of art. 

Each watch is handmade in Switzerland and I’m the proud owner of the Jowissa Lewy 9, which is a 42mm (case) watch that has a blue face and steel band. One of the great features of this watch is the interchangeable band.  Depending on your look, you can easily change out the band for a leather strap or another steel style.

This is a chronograph watch that includes dials for the date and precise time measurement including an easy-to-read stopwatch feature.

Please be aware that this is not a diving watch, so submerging it in water is a bad idea.  It is, however, water-resistant and you can take a shower while wearing it.

The weight of this watch is perfect for my wrist.  It’s heavy, but not as heavy as my Rolex, which is great because after a while you don’t even realize it’s there. 

Wrapping Up

Since I’ve been wearing my Jowissa watch daily, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments.  Even more so, than when I was wearing the Rolex.
