Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey and Coca-Cola have been a classic combination since 1907 when it was first introduced as a Coca-Cola High Ball.
Bartenders love making this cocktail, especially on their busy nights. But most whiskey aficionados frown upon this pairing, as they feel that your whiskey should never be combined with a sugary soda. It’s still a pretty popular and delicious choice!
If you are looking for a version of Jack and Coke that is a little less sweet you can substitute Coke Classic for Diet Coke. The flavor combination is still pretty awesome, plus you are saving on the calories! This makes for the perfect all-night cocktail.
Learn how to make a simple cocktail with Jack and Coke
You should learn to make this simple cocktail with Jack and Coke. Depending on how strong you like it, the Coke to whiskey ratio is completely up to you.
If you decide to use Diet Coke, I recommend adding a bit more Diet to your glass to make it a little less strong. Unless of course, that’s how you like it, and who am I to judge?
